plasma tv anti glare
OK..am confused by the “anti-glare” pitch by Panasonic on their 42″ (TH-42PZ700U)system?. What is it..?
Also…seems to be two models with the # 7 in them..one with pip…one without..?? Question is ca I get PIP and Anti-glare in the 42″ plasma..help! TV challenged..
The big anti-glare pitch is to make plasma sound more valuable then LCD. Plasmas on average have a better picture and contrast ratio then most LCD flat screens. However a major draw back to plasma TV’s is that in order for plasmas to function the way they do the screen must be glass. Well glass is highly reflective hence you get a lot of glare. The way LCD TV’s are built they are able to have a softer screen which is very anti reflective. So with panasonic having an anti glare plasma its just another reason not to buy an LCD screen just because of the anti glare ability.
