What cable am I looking for to connect my XBOX to this setup?
I am getting an XBOX 360 in light of the big CODMW2 release. The issue is, I don’t know the proper setup. I have a Samsung 62 inch plasma and a Samsung Blue Ray player that a 5.1 surround sound system runs out of. As far as I can tell, I’m out of HDMI inputs on the TV, I could be wrong – I don’t know what the hell I’m doing.
I noticed there are many types of cables I could use, it comes with an AV cable.
I do not want to use the tv speakers, just surround sound. I want the best picture possible.
Use the Xbox 360 component cables to connect the 3 video to your plasma and 2 audio to your surround. Or there’s optical out for sound.
If you want to do this with HDMI, then you need the official Microsoft Xbox 360 HDMI cables that come with an audio dongle for 2xRCA and optical out for sound. or you’ll just get sound from HDMI.
