I can get a 50 inch Sanyo plasma TV for $ 598.00 is what it is worth. I heard plasma is abandoned?
Plasma TVs are not abandoned then all LCD TVs more! The day which will see the LCD televisions, the same Plasma televisions day will … so far … they are not going anywhere! People who say that the plasma is discontinued do not know what they speak! LED LCD TV and OLED TVs are most likely to be the technology of the future and replace the standard LCD and Plasma. But it will not happen until the technology is cheaper and easier to manufacturer. Currently the technology costs are astronomical! Sanyo is now a subsidiary of Panasonic … the best maker of plasma display panels there! A TV Sanyo should be very good! However … Sanyo tend not to have anti-glare filters on their screens, as do Panasonic. Something to consider. Hope this helps!
